SWAIN ANDERSON PASSED AWAY.
Friday morning Oct. 5th about 7:45[illegible?] passed away at the hospital in Austin where he had been the past four weeks. From the beginning of his illness his recovery was a doubt and he repeatedly asked to be taken back to Lyle to his friends, expressing a feeling that he would never be able to recover and return home well. [illegible: All?] what medical science could do did not avail, and death, the common leveler of all could not be stayed.
Death is no respecter of person, for it calls to old and young alike, and it seems that this has been a busy week for the never tiring grim reaper, who breaks the family circles, rends the loving home ties, and leaves the crushed and sorrowing ones alone with their grief.
One of those called home this week was little Garfield Orris Anderson son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson. The little fellow was taken violently ill about two weeks ago, and was a constant sufferer until the end came Sunday afternoon.
Death of Mrs. Anderson
Mrs. A. H. Anderson died Tuesday morning of tuberculosis after an illness of more than two years during which time she had been treated by a number of skilled physicians at home and at Chicago and St. Paul. The funeral services will be held at Mona church Friday at 2 o'clock.
