Word was received here of the passing of Andrew Anderson at, Hettinger, N. D., Thursday evening Jan 12 at 10:30, His brother, C M of Minneapolis went to be with the sick man, but lost the race.

Andrew was the son of Mr and Mrs Grunde Anderson for many years residents of this vicinity.

For many years he lived on a farm in Dakota.

In the early days Andrew was the efficient helper of Dr W F Cobb, and often the two could be seen going hither and yon carrying comfort and cheer to the sick and needy.

The deceased was 72 years old June 15th of last year.
