LYLE -- Shirley Norregaard, 73, a longtime rural Lyle homemaker, died Monday (June 5, 1995) at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Shirley Paulson was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Dodge County. On Nov. 16, 1945, she married Walter Norregaard in Lyle. She lived in the Lyle area most of her life. Mrs. Norregaard was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was a former president of St. Mark's Lutheran Home Auxiliary.

Survivors include three daughters, Bernice Norregaard of Babbitt, Minn., Marie (Mrs. David) Iverson of Albert Lea and Susan Norregaard of St. Paul; four sons, Robert, Daniel and Mark, all of Lyle, and Nathan of Plainview; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, a daughter and a great-grandson.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle, with the Rev. Harold Luecke officiating. Burial will be in Woodbury Cemetery in Lyle.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin and an hour before the service Thursday at the church.@et
