OBITUARY

Mrs. Amundson passed away at her home in Mona Friday morning, after weary months of suffering, the past nine months of which she was confined to her bed.

Rev. A. Elmer Moe conducted the funeral service which was held at Mona Sunday afternoon, and was attended by a large number of friends and neighbors.

The deceased was born Feb. 24th, 1842 in Telemarken Norway, and was married to Torger Amundson Aug. 1, 1870. To them three children were born, two of whom survive: Mrs. Geo. Larson and Martin Amundson, both of this vicinity.

Mrs. Amundson left her native land on May 24th 1882 and since coming to America has made her home in Lyle and Mona vicinities.

The remains were laid to rest in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mr. Amundson died in 1895.
