Raymond Bisbee, 60, of Lyle died suddenly Saturday, April 9, following a heart attack.

He had just finished washing his car at the Lyle car wash and was visiting with friends and he suddenly collapsed. An ambulance was called, but he died enroute to the Mitchell County Memorial hospital.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 13 at Our Savior's Lutheran church, Lyle with the Rev. Merland Johnson officiating, and interment was in the Grand View Memorial Gardens at Austin.

A lifetime Nevada township resident, Ole Lillegaard, 92, died Saturday evening at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, following a eight week illness. He had been a patient at Memorial hospital, Osage until he entered the Center in September.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 12 at the Six Mile Grove with the Rev. S. Klemesrud officiating and interment was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah, one daughter and two sons.

Walter Sherman, 68, lifelong resident of Lyle, died Sunday, January, 24 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage from a heart condition that had kept him hospitalized there for the past eleven weeks following several serious heart attacks.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27 at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. M. H. Averbeck officiating and interment was in Woodbury cemetery.

Mrs. John Schultz Rites Held In New Hampton

NEW HAMPTON

Mrs. John Schultz, age 54, (the former Emily Klusmeier) of New Hampton, Iowa passed away suddenly Saturday evening in the hospital at New Hampton, Saturday evening following a heart attack.

Funeral services for the former Otranto township resident were held at First Methodist church in New Hampton Tuesday October 31.

A complete obituary will be printed next week.

Lulu Wilder funeral

WILDER- Funeral services for Mrs. M. E. (Lulu) Wilder, formerly of Austin Rt. 2, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Rev. Stanley Hanks officiating.

Interment will be in Woodbury Cemetery. Friends may call at the Jordan Mortuary until 10 a.m. Wednesday and at the church one hour before the service. The family prefers memorials.

Service at Lyle, Minn. for Sgt. Marion Bell

Lyle, Minn. -- Memorial services for Sgt. Marion Bell were held Sunday afternoon in the Lyle Mission church with the Rev. Howard Root and the Rev. Carl Volstad officiating.

Sgt. Bell was reported missing in action Feb. 3 and not until July 7 did his wife receive word that he was killed in action.

Ralph Warrington funeral

The funeral of the later Pvt. Ralph Warrington was held at the home of his parents last Friday afternoon with interment in Cedar City. A large concourse of friends and neighbors attended. This is the first young man of our midst who has been called upon to make the supreme sacrifice upon the altar of freedom and all Cedar City honors and mourns her first fallen hero- for he is a hero just truly as though he had fallen on the battle fields "over there." The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family whose service star has turned to gold.
