George Nesse obituary
George Nesse, a son of Martin Nesse, residing south east of Mona, went rabbit hunting Saturday in company with a number of other boys and met with an accident from which he died Monday morning. He had wounded a rabbit which he was trying to kill with the butt end of a gun when it accidentally discharged, the ball entering his limb just above the knee, passing upward into his body. Dr. Cobb of Mona and Dr. Bundy, of this place made a careful examination of the wound Sunday, but give up all hopes of saving the young man's life.
