MRS JENNIE HAGNA OF AUSTIN
DIED AT ST. OLAF HOSPITAL

Mrs. Jennie Reierson Hagna passed away at 5 o'clock Monday morning. She suffered a stroke about a week previous and remained unconscious to the end. The funeral service was held at 2 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, at the Jordan Mortuary, Rev. Loss of the Lutheran church at Austin officiating.

Mrs. Hagna was born and reared in this vicinity, where she had many friends. She was a woman of high principle, and was a gentlewoman in every respect.

Ole Haas was born in Trondhiem, Norway on February 28, 1861, and passed away March 9, 1937 at the home of his son, Carl at the age of 76 years and nine days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. He came to America at the age of 22 years.

Ove Peter Hanson was born November 24th, 1855 at Shelland, Denmark, and died at his farm home at Mona, Iowa, January 16 1937 at the age of 81 years one month and 23 days. He was baptized and confirmed in Denmark, and there was married on July 1st, 1876 to Christine Rasmussen to which union seven children were born. Of these five died during their early childhood years. The family immigrated to America in May 1880, going first to Medford, Minnesota, and later coming to Lyle, where Mr. Hanson worked for a number of years in the Lyle lumber yard.

Bertha Marie Nelson was born at Waukon, Iowa, May 7th, 1867 and passed away July 21 1936 at her home at the age of 69 yrs, 2 mos and 14 days.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In 1890, she was married to Ole Hass of Deborah, Iowa. They made Alamakee County, Iowa, their home until 1912, when they moved to a farm near Lyle. There they lived until 1924 when they moved to Lyle which continued to be her home until her death.

Funeral services were held at the Jordan Mortuary Friday for Halvor Hansen, who passed away at his home on Lyndale Ave. Wednesday, old age complications being the cause. A service followed at the church at Mona, with Rev. Noss conducting the service assisting Rev. Langehough of Lyle Lutheran church.

The remains of the late Mrs. F. Harder whose death was mentioned in the Tribune last week, arrived in Lyle Tuesday.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at 1:30 P. M., Rev. O. M. Langehough officiating. Interment was made at Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Frank Harder, nee Thompson was born September 23, 1890 in Mitchell county Iowa and passed away in a hospital in Kalispell, Montana from a paralytic stroke on December 15th, 1926.

Mrs. Halvor Hanson

Mrs. Halvor Hanson, whose maiden name was Anna Thompson Mork, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thore Mork, was born in Winnebago County, Ill., July 8, 1848. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church of her home parish in Illnois and confimed at St. Ansgar, Iowa in 1863, by Rev. Clausen. When her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Mork, came to Mitchell County in 1854, they settled at once on the so-called Mork Farm about six miles north of St. Ansgar.

Theodore Haas, 20, died last night at the St. Olaf Hospital as a result of injuries received in an accident while working in the field Tuesday afternoon at his home near Lyle. Intestinal perforation caused his death.

Funeral services for a Mona farmer, Alfred B. Haugen, 83, who died at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center March 8, were held March 11 at Mona Lutheran church with the Rev. Gaylord Grant officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Alfred Benjamin Haugen, the eldest son of Knut and Elisa (Trom) Haugen, was born in Dodge county, Rock Dell, Minn. March 23, 1893.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ronald (Doris) Harris, 53, of Lyle, who died May 18 at the Adams Care Center, Adams, Minn., were held May 21 at Our Savior's Lutheran church with the Rev. H. Luecke officiating.

Doris Berneice Paulson, the daughter of John and Berneice (Helgeson) Paulson was born September 6, 1923 in Mower county.

She attended school at Austin and Lyle and graduated from Lyle high school.

July 20, 1946 she married Ronald Harris and lived most of her life in Lyle.

She is survived by her husband and 4 daughters and 2 sons, Henry Hansen, St. Ansgar; George Hansen, Mrs. Ed Sherman, Wilbaux, Mont.; Mrs. Robert Richards and Mrs. Oscar Thompson, Lyle; and Ella Hansen of Austin. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
