Hanson obituary
Pioneer Farmer Laid
to Rest Tuesday
It is not necessary to state why many in this community grieved when word that O P Hanson had died was passed from one to another, or why many gathered at the Mona Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon, to attend the funeral of their dear friend and neighbor. It was Mr. Hanson's last journey to the church he loved and, and which he had supported loyalty for more than half a century. It was the old comrads last opportunity to pay tribute to this kind neighbor, whose sturdy traits of character won for him the love and respect of the people of the community. Although he suffered much through sickness in the family, he bore it all with fortitude and grace. He loved to visit with his many friends, and talk over old times. He was a welcome guest in any circle.
