MRS O. P. HANSON

Mattie Sophie Peterson was born August 8, 1864 in Langeland Denmark. She immigrated to this country when she was 4 years of age. She was confirmed at the Six Mile Grove church by Rev. Gjeldaker. She was united in marriage to O. P. Hanson, January 28, 1891 by the Rev. J M Eggen. She passed away at her late home on Saturday April 16, 1938 at the age of 73 years 8 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, 3 children; Marcus of Osage Iowa; Albert and Marie (Mrs. Joseph Follmuth,) of Lyle also two step children; Mrs. Ella Kovarik of Duluth and Nels Hanson of Canton, S. D.; also 5 grandchildren.

The deceased had been a life long member of the Mona church, as well as one of the honor members of the Ladies Aid Society. Her prayer was that she might sleep peacefully away in Jesus her Saviour, whom she loved and served during her earthly career.

Funeral services were held Tuesday April 19, at 1:30 P M at the house and at 2 P M at the Mona church, Rev. Langehough officiating.
