The funeral was held in the M.E. church Wednesday afternoon, was conducted by Rev. Dietrichson and Peter Knutson of Clear Lake. The sympathy of the community goes out to the parents in their bereavement. The following verses were written in memory of the little one:
The little 18 months old baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Torgeson died last Friday. She had apparently been in good health until Thursday when she was eating peanuts and all at once began to cough and choke. She was brought to town but was some what relieved by that time. An examination was made but nothing was found in her throat. The next day she was worse and the doctor was called again but she died before relief could be given.

Death came to darken the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Thorstad last Monday as the Lord called our loved darling girl to his home, which he had prepared for her. God's will is not ours so blessed be Him that giveth and Him that taketh, as we all know He knows and does all for the best. It was hard to loose her, but to know she rest safe in the arms of Jesus is a light in our deepest sorrow.
