Leonard Leidall Funeral Held At Our Savior's Lutheran

Funeral services for a long­time businessman, Leonard Leidall, 76, who died Sunday, May 29, were held Thursday, June 2 at Our Saviors Lutheran church with Rev H. Luecke officiating.

Leonard Rudolph Leidall, son of Knut and Emma (Knutson) Leidall, was born in Union township, Mitchell county, September 15, 1900. He attended Union #5 rural school and was baptized and confirmed at Six Mile Grove church and lived most of his life In the Lyle area.

January 27, 1934 he married Mildred Hollerud. He started business in Lyle in 1923 and in 1930 began a business as implement dealer and later as an auto mechanic and farm implement repair in Lyle where he was working at the time of his death.

Mr. Leidall was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran church; the Knights of Pythias, Sons of Norway, Lyle Lions club, past member of Masonic Lodge and served on Lyle city council.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred six children, Kermit of Plymouth, Calif.; Mrs Kenneth (Delores) Clifford of Kileen, Tex., Mrs John (Dorothy) Woolridge of Rochester, David Leidall, Mrs. David (Charlotte) Plantikow and Mrs. David (Sharon) Tucker, Austin, 13 grandchildren; one brother, Oscar Leidall, Marlon, S.D. ; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Albert, Walter, Clifford, Fred, Willie and Rob, one sister, Mrs. Melvin Anderson; one grandson in infancy.

Burial was in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Austin, Minn.
