Mrs. T. Enerson Rites Held At Six Mile Grove

Funeral services for Theodore Enerson, 71, were held Friday, December 2 at Six Mile Grove Lutheran church with the Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiating and interment was in the church cemetery.

Mabel Nelson Enerson, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin D. Nelson, was born September 30, 1889 in Nevada township, Mower county, Minnesota where she also attended grade school and grew to womanhood, and spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was baptized and confirmed at Six Mile Grove Lutheran church.

On February 23, 1922 she was united in marriage to Theodore E. Enerson, by the Rev. A. Moe at Lyle. This union was blessed with two children, a daughter, Lois and a son, Duane.

In June, 1959 she submitted to major surgery at Mason City, and never regained her health. The last two months she spent in the hospital at Osage. The last week of her illness she was cared for at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson in Lyle, where she died Wednesday, November 30 at the age of 71 years and two months.

She was a member of Six Mile Grove Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid and Mission Circle.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Lois) Prihoda of Albert Lea and a son, Duane of Rose Creek, Minnesota and ten grandchildren. Also three sisters Mrs. Alf (Amanda) Fossey, Lyle; Mrs. Walter (Helen) Baldner, Austin; Mrs. William (Lila) Klusmeier, Rose Creek; five brothers, John and Alfred of Rose Creek and Elmer, Dave and Raymond of Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Robert Nelson, Shirll Nelson, Donald Nelson, Warren Austinson, Walter Baldner, Jr., and Darwin Fossey.
