AUSTIN -- A graveside service for Vila Mae (Magee) Warrington will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar City Cemetery in Austin.

Mrs. Warrington, 92, of Lodi, Calif., formerly of Austin, died Jan. 27, 2004, in Lodi of complications of a fall and a broken leg on Jan. 2.

Vila Mae Magee was born May 11, 1911, in Austin, and graduated from Austin High School and Iowa State Teachers College. On Sept. 5, 1931, she married Cedric "Stub" Warrington. After a short teaching career, she and her husband moved to Pasadena, Calif., where they established Warrington Auto Service. She was bookkeeper for the business. Her husband died in 1996. Mrs. Warrington lived in Pasadena and later La Canada, Calif., before moving to Lodi in 1998.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan (Walter) Cranston of Lockeford, Calif.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Goslee of Austin; and two brothers, Richard Magee and Kenneth Magee, both of Austin. A son preceded her in death.
