uneral services for a former Lyle area resident, Mrs. Carrie Arneson, 75, of Rosholt, S. D. were held Wednesday, January, 6 in Trondjhem rural Lutheran church with interment in the church cemetery at Rosholt.

Mrs. Arneson is the former Carrie Jacobson, daughter of the late Hans and Bridt Jacobson. She was born and reared in the Lyle and Six Mile Grove areas.

In 1908 she was married to Allen Arneson and in 1909 they moved to Rosholt where they have since resided. (Her husband preceded her in death).

Mrs. Arneson died Saturday, January 2 and was found dead in her chair by her son who lives near by. He had called her just shortly before that he was picking her up to have dinner with him and his family. Mrs. Arneson had entertained at a family New Year's dinner the day before her death.

She is survived by four daughters and three sons in S. D. and Minn and a brother, Henry and sister, Louise both of Clear Lake, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Webster Johnson and Jacqueline drove to Rosholt to attend the funeral of Mrs. Arneson who was an aunt of Mrs. Johnson.
