Mary Arneson Funeral Held
Our Savior's

Funeral services for Miss Mary Arneson, 89 were held Saturday, January 6 at Our Savior's Lutheran church, Lyle, with the Rev. M. Johnson officiating. Interment was in Six Mile Grove Lutheran cemetery. She died January 3 at Comforcare Nursing Home, Austin.

Mary Arneson, daughter of Lars and Martha Arneson was born January 19, 1878 on a farm in Nevada twp. Later in life she moved to Lyle where she resided with a sister, Anna, until the death of her sister in 1961, then made her home with a nephew, Conrad Dyrland and family.

June 24, 1966, she sustained a broken hip from which she never fully recovered. After being discharged from the hospital she was moved to Comforcare Nursing Home for special care. She resided here until her death.

Miss Arneson was a devout member of Our Savior's church, Lyle, where she was a faithful worker for the church until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.

Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.
