I. I. Anderson Rites Held At Six Mile Grove
Funeral rites for Ingebright I. Anderson, 77, a lifelong Lyle area man and retired farmer, who died at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage Wednesday, December 30 following several strokes, were held Saturday, January 2 at the Six Mile Grove Lutheran church with the Rev. Merland Johnson officiating.
Mr. Anderson, who resided alone on a farm about five miles east of Lyle, was found by neighbor, Rufus Frank, on the floor of his home after suffering a stroke December 22.
Ingebright I. Anderson, son of Ingebright and Emma Anderson was born August 29th, 1882 in Mower County, Nevada Township. He was baptized and confirmed in Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Dena Nelson on October 10, 1902 at the same church, where he was a life long member. He has resided on farm ever since his marriage
To this union was born a daughter, (Emma), Mrs. Lawrence Lewison of Adams, Minn, and one son, Nordahl of Rochester, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dena on December 3rd, 1933.
He leaves to mourn his departure, Daughter, Emma, a son Nordahl, seven grandchildren, Idor, Leland, and David Lewison and Darlene (Mrs. Robert Simmons) and Marlys Tollefson, Gloria (Mrs. Ranfranz) Nola (Mrs. Keller) and eight great grandchildren.
Interment was in Six-Mile Grove cemetery with Rev. Johnson officiating at the service.
