A. C. Bisbee Funeral Held At Six Mile Grove

Funeral services for Allen Clark (A. C.) Bisbee, 86, who died Thursday, July 2 in St. Paul, were held Monday, July 6 at the Six Mile Grove Lutheran church with the Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

(A.C.) Allen Clark Bisbee, was born September 21, 1878 in Nevada township, the son of Augustus C. and Helen Houghton Bisbee.

On June 9, 1903 he married Alma Enerson in Six Mile Grove Lutheran church. They lived in Lyle until 1910 when they moved to Albert Lea where he was employed as a salesman for the American Gas Machine Company for thirty nine years. In 1934 they moved to Northfield and in 1941 moved to a farm southeast of Lyle in Mitchell county, where they lived until the death of his wife, Alma in 1950. Since then he has made his home with his daughters in the Twin cities. He had been a member of Six Mile Grove Lutheran church from 1941 until 1952 when he went to live with his daughters.

He is survived by his three sons, Acton Bisbee of St. Paul; Mayo Bisbee, Pittsburg, Penn. and Dean of Anchorage, Alaska; also two daughters, (Helen) Mrs. Harry Falk St. Paul and (Nyla) Mrs. James Ostroot, Bloomington, Minn.; also eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
