Broke His Neck

Hans Olson Fell From His
Wagon While Hauling
Grain to Lyle, and
Died Suddenly.

The community was shocked last Saturday afternoon by the report that Hans Olson was dead, having fallen from a load of grain while on his way to Lyle. The accident occurred near the Amundson home about 3 o'clock. Mr. Olson was found by Herman Lerud, but only lived a short time afterward. The funeral was held from the Six mile Grove church at 3 o'clock Saturday, afternoon, Rev. Lee of Northfield officiating. Hans Olson was born Sept. 28, 1880, and grew to manhood in Nevada Township. He was married about 7 years ago to Miss Stena Enerson, who survives him. He also leaves 4 children; Richard, Harlan, Leonard and Thurman. He is also survived by five sisters and one brother.
They are Mrs. Ed Bjork of Lyle,
Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Northwood.
Mrs. Henry Thovson, living north of Lyle,
Mrs. Ole Lerud, living northwest of Austin,
Ole Mycklejord of London.
And Hanna Olson, who was called home from Oregon by the sudden death of her brother. The sympathy of the community is with the family in their honor of sudden bereavement.
