Funeral services for a Mona resident, Allan C. Anderson, 69, were held Tuesday, November 25 at Six Mile Grove Lutheran church with the Rev. E. Unseth officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Anderson died at Mitchell County Memorial hospital, Osage on November 21.

Allan Clarence Anderson, son of Erick O and Bertha Anderson was born February 7, 1900 in Nevada township near Rose Creek. He was baptized and confirmed in Six Mile Grove church.

He worked as a farm hand in the Lyle and Rose Creek area until 1942 when he became employed by Nelson & Co., Albert Lea, where he remained until his retirement in 1965. In 1967 he moved to Mona where he resided until his death. His main interest in life was giving to charities and to children and he proudly wore a 2-gallon Red Cross Blood pin.

Survivors are three brothers, Bernie, Albert Lea; Gilbert, Sergeant; and Kenneth, Rose Creek, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
