MRS. HENRY STROMLEY FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD AT OUR SAVIORS'S LUTHERAN DECEMBER 7

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Irene) Stromley, 89, formerly of Lyle, Minnesota, who died Friday, December 4 at an Osage Nursing Home, were held Monday, December 9 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lyle, with the Reverend Harold Luecke officiating.

Mrs. Stromley was born April 24, 1898 near Lyle to Oliver and Anna (Gunderson) Larson. She attended rural schools in the Lyle, Minnesota and Mona area.

She married Henry Stromley in Mona May 23, 1916. The couple farmed in the Mona area many years. Mr. Stromley died in November of 1977. She moved to Lyle in 1980 and to Osage in 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orphie Kohlman of Zapata, Texas and Mrs. Dean (Hazel) Lewis of Fairmont, Minnesota; two sons, Orven of St. Ansgar and Sylvan of Lyle; two sisters, Mabel Penney and Lulu Jorgensen, both of Osage; nine grandchildren; 18 grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister.

Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mona.
