Rites Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Nick Severson, 78, a long time Lyle resident, were held at Our Savior Lutheran church in Lyle Wednesday, March 23, with interment in First Lutheran cemetery at St. Ansgar with the Rev. Merland Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Severson (nee Mathilda Anderson) died last Friday, March 18, at Englewood, California, where she has lived since the death of her husband.

The body was flown to Chicago then shipped to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where arrangements were made and also a funeral service held there before bringing the body to Lyle for commitment here.
