Robert L. Anderson Jr. -- Austin

AUSTIN — A memorial service for Robert L. Anderson Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, with the Rev. Dennis Tamke officiating. Interment will be in Cedar City Cemetery, rural Austin.

Mr. Anderson, 57, of Austin, died Sunday (Feb. 11, 2007) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Robert Lewis Anderson Jr. was born April 28, 1949, in Austin, where he grew up and received his education. He married Marjorie Scheer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkton. They made their home in Dexter, but were later divorced. He worked for various companies as a truck driver. He moved to Lang’s boarding house in 1991.

Survivors include a son, Nicholas (SaraLee) of Adams; two grandchildren; a brother, William “Bill" (Nancy) of Long Valley, N.J.; and a sister, MaryJo (Terry) McAlister of Sulphur Springs, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Lorraine (Elward) Anderson.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
