OBITUARY.

On Friday afternoon, Dec. 2, the remains of the late Oliver Jacobson will be laid to rest in the Six Mile Grove Cemetery.

Oliver was born June 28, 1878, in Mower County and has made his home here most of his life. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Knut Jacobson, and was lifelong member of the Lutheran church.

About four years ago his health began to fail and some time after went to California, in hope that the change of climate might prove beneficial. He returned from California about a year ago, and it was that he was much better, and hoped that he might recover entirely, but during the past weeks he has suffered from several hemorrhages of the lungs, and Monday evening, passed from this life of sickness and sorrow.

Oliver was a young man of sterling character, and was popular among his acquaintances, who sincerely mourn his early death. Besides his parents he leaves 2 sisters; Anna of Adams Township and Bertha of Clay County; also 2 brothers; Jacob of Farwell, Minn, and Andrew at home.
