OLE A. NAVERSATH

Ole A. Naversath was born on March 25, 1859, in Sogn, Norway, and away July 4, 1939, at the hospital in Albert Lea, Minn.,at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 6 days. He was united in marriage to Bertha Peterson, Dec. 21, 1883.

In 1884 Mr Naversath moved to his farm in Union township, Mitchell county, Iowa, which has been his home for 55 years.

To this union were born eleven children, three having preceded him in death. Mr. Naversath leaves beside his wife, seven daughter- Minnie, Mrs. Albert Leidall, of Enderlin, N. D.; Anna, Mrs. Dave Palmer, of Osage, Mable, Mrs. Gilbert Nelson, of Albert Lea, Minn; Orpha, Mrs. Tom Dahl, of Lyle, Sadie, Mrs. Ole Helgeson, of Austin, Myrtle, Mrs. Walter Leidall, of Union township, Una, Mrs. Arthur Anderson, of Grand Meadow, Minn. - and one son, Orville Naversath, on the home farm, also fifteen grandchildren and five great-grand-children.

Mr. Naversath was a home-loving man, always thinking of his family, and on July 4, he passed quietly away, leaving only a memory of a kind-hearted and dear husband and father, who will be sadly missed by his family.

Mr. Naversath joined the Six Mile Grove church with the Rev. Langehough officiating. The Dahl quartet sang two numbers, and the Rev. Langehough a solo. Six grandchildren were the pallbearers- Orrin, Glen and Howard Thompson, LaVern Leidall, Nordal Nelson, and Arthur Betts. Burial was in the Six Mile Grove cemetery.

Those who came for the funeral from away were Mr. and Mrs. John Thorstad, Mrs. Lillian Westoff, Ed Hildebrand, of Minneapolis, Mrs. John Peterson, of Marion, N. D., Algy Slindee, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Julia Brown, Crookston, Minn, Mrs. Anna Slindee, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Peterson, of Adams, Minn.
