-NEW SCHOOL HOUSE.- In District No. 9,
Nevada township, east of Lyle, a new school house is building. It is to be 32 foot long by 20 feet wide, and ceiling 10 feet height, and will be heated from the basement. It will be furnished with the Victor double desk, and will be completed, ready for occupancy, December 1st. The roof is now on, and the windows are enclosed. The rooms will be nicely ceiled within, and the entire cost will be $800. This work is superintended by the enterprising directors K. Ammundson, H. K. Volstad, and Ole Nelson. The School Board have engaged Fred Clow as teacher, a graduate of Austin High School, and a worthy and competent young man.
