Guttrom Aslackson, an old respected citizen of this country, passed away at his home in Nevada Saturday after an illness of a couple of weeks. He came here in the spring of 1870 and has since lived here.

He was born in Rouland Thellemarken, Norway, Apr. 14, 1845. In 1891 he was married to Ingebor Ellis. To them were born 12 children of whom five survive. After his children had finished their school in the district, they were one to the Luther Academy at Albert Lea. During the past few years he has not been very well but not until two weeks ago was it apparent that death was near.

The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the house and interment was made in the Six Mile Grove Cemetery.
