Funeral Services for Ole Naversath Held Friday, July 7

Ole A. Naversath was born March 28, 1859, in Sogn, Norway, and passed away July 4, 1939, at the hospital in Albert Lea, Minn., at the age of 80 years, three months and six days.

He was united in marriage to Bertha Peterson, Dec. 21, 1883. In 1884 Mr. Naversath moved to his farm in Union township, Mitchell county, Iowa which has been his home for 55 years. To this union were born eleven children, three having preceded him in death. Mr. Naversath leaves beside his wife, seven daughters, namely Minnie, Mrs. Albert Leidall of Enderlin, N. D.; Anna, Mrs. Dave Palmer of Osage; Mable, Mrs. Gilbert Nelson of Albert Lea, Minn.; Orpha, Mrs. Tom Dahl of Lyle; Sadie, Mrs. Ole Helgeson of Austin; Myrtle, Mrs. Walter Leidall of Union township; Una, Mrs. Arthur Anderson of Grand Meadow, Minn.; and one son, Orville, Naversath on the home farm, also 15 grand children and .[illegible] great grandchildren.

Mr. Naversath joined the Six Mile Grove Lutheran church in 1884 and has always been an active and faithful member.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Six Mile Grove church, Rev. Langehough officiating. The Dahl quartet sang two numbers, Rev. Langebough a solo. Six grand children were pallbearers, Orrin, Glen and Howard Thompson, Arthur Betts, LeVern Leidall and Nordahl Nelson.

Burial was made in the Six Mile Grove cemetery.
