Evangeline Krause, 82, Highgrove, dies

AUSTIN -- Evangeline H. Krause, 82, of Route 3, Highgrove, rural Austin, died Monday (Jan. 25, 1993) at her home.

Evangeline H. Dahl was born Oct. 20, 1910, in Lyle. She and her husband, Sterling, were crown direct distributors with Amway and founded Krause Missionary Fellowship. Mr. Krause died in 1986.

Survivors include two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Genevieve Ross of Bellingham, Wash. A son preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin, with the Rev. Joe Matt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mona, Iowa, at a later date.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
