AUSTIN -- The funeral for Dollee Barclay will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Austin, with the Rev. Patricia M. Toschak officiating. Burial will be in Cedar City Cemetery.

Mrs. Barclay, 86, of Austin, a former area farm homemaker, died Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2004) at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.

Dollee Campbell was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Lyle Township, Mower County, and attended Austin public schools. On Feb. 20, 1935, she married Clifford Charles Barclay at the Methodist Church parsonage in Austin, and they farmed in the Lyle-London area. Mrs. Barclay was a member of First United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors, Silver Tea, Lyle Legion Auxiliary, Cedar City Cemetery Association and neighborhood birthday and card clubs. She was active in 4-H, served on the District 70 School Board and enjoyed gardening and embroidery.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Kline of Lyle; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin and an hour before the service Saturday at the church.
