AUSTIN -- The funeral for DeLos M. ``Del'' Harris of 1001 15th St. S.W., a retired Hormel Foods Corp. employee, will be at 11 a.m. Monday today at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Kahl officiating. Burial will be in Cedar City Cemetery.

Mr. Harris, 80, died Friday (Jan. 30, 1998) at Sacred Heart Care Center.

He was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Rowan, Iowa. He married Lois Bull in 1940 and they were later divorced. He served as an aviation metalsmith in the Navy during World War II. He married Eunice Easton in 1945 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He worked as a steam engineer in the power plant at Hormel and was a member of VFW Post 1216 and American Legion Post 91.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Bill) Jackson of Mason City, Iowa, and JoAnn (Mrs. Russell) Griebel of Ida, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roger, of Nora Springs, Iowa.

A brother preceded him in death.
