Another early congregation was the Gospel Mission later known as the Volstad church and now is named the Bethel Alliance church. It was bought from the Methodist congregation in 1905 by Halvor Volstad and grandson, Knut Volstad who served as elder and acting Pastor until his death. Later regular pastors were installed and in 1957 the church was partially remodeled and an educational unit added.
