Railroad postoffice service has been established on the line of the Illinois Central railroad between Lyle, Minn., and Waterloo, Iowa.

Service formerly performed by Minneapolis, Hayfield and Waterloo railroad postoffice, which has been changed to end at Mason City, Iowa.

Among the amendments reported by the Senate committee on appropriations to the urgent deficiency bill of the House is one providing for payment of salaries up to July 30, of district judges, district attorneys, district marshals in North and South Dakota, Montana and Washington.

H.R. Bigelow, of St.Paul, is in the city.
