BURIED WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs Joseph Malloy, 46, died June 19, were held Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran church at Austin, conducted by Rev. Noss. Interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, the Schutte Funeral Home of Austin in charge.

Mrs Anna Malloy, daughter of Hans and Bertha Helgeson, was born May 12, 1898 near Lyle. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran church.

She spent her girlhood in the Lyle vicinity, attended Red Star school, and took a bookkeeping course at the Southern Minnesota College.

One Sept 11, 1920, she married Joseph R. Malloy at the Lutheran parsonage in Mason City, Iowa, Rev. Vordale officiating.

Mrs. Malloy is survived by her husband and daughter, Maxine, five sisters, Mrs A J Larson, Mrs A. Silbaugh, Mrs. Kelly George and Mrs Kenneth Nelson, all of Austin, Miss Clara Helgeson. Lyle township, three brothers, Ole, Hans, and Henry all of Lyle township, three nieces, three nephews, and one grandnephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
