Services for Sever Larson who passed away April 7 at the home of his son, Chris Larson, Austin, were held Friday from the Mona Church, Rev. Langehough officiating. Interment followed in the Mona Cemetery.

Mr. Larson was born in Jondal, Norway 7 April 1856 and his demise occurred on his 75th birthday anniversary. In 1882 he journeyed to America and settled near St. Ansgar, Iowa. To his marriage with Christi Larson, 6 children were born, 4 of whom survive. They are Lewis Larson of Enderlin, N. D., Burt Larson of Dodson, Mont., Martin Larson of Neidpath, Sask, Can. and Chris Larson of Austin. There are also 2 brothers and 7 grandchildren. Mrs. Larson passed on 2 years ago and a daughter Mrs. Clarence Meyer of Lyle passed away(5) five months ago.
