Funeral services for Hans Helgeson, 75, who died Wednesday, May 20 at St. Olaf hospital, May 23 at Our Savior's Lutheran church with the Rev. M. Johnson officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Mona.

Hans Helgeson, son of Hans and Bertha (Olson) Helgeson, was born December 6, 1894 in Lyle township, one of 10 children in the family.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Mona Lutheran church and attended the rural Red Star school near Lyle.

He was married to Isabelle Snorthum March 23, 1921. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran church, and served on the Board of trustees for several years.

He is survived by one brother, Henry of Lyle; four sisters, Mrs. Gina Larson, Austin; Miss Clara Helgeson, Lyle; Mrs. Helen Silbaugh and Mr. Kelly George of Austin; three nephews and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Isabelle, two brothers and two sisters.
