Eddie Hanson

Funeral rites were conducted Friday, July 31, by Reverend S. V. Gjervik for Eddie Hanson, who died July 27 at Mercy hospital, Mason City.

Eddie Hanson was born May 2, 1882 to Martin and Bertha Hanson. He grew up near Otranto and married Anna Nessett there Sept. 17, 1903. They farmed north of St. Ansgar, at Mona and at Murdock and Rose Creek, Minn., retiring to Adams, Minn.

Mrs. Hanson died there in 1950. Survivors include one son, Morris, Mason City; two daughters, Mrs. Otto Tischer, Austin, Minn., and Mrs. Vernon Anderson, Adams, Minn.; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Magnus, Lyle, Minn., and Carl, Austin, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Chris Olson of Austin.

Two brothers, John and Norris, and a sister, Bertha, preceded Mr. Hanson in death.
