Everson obituary
THE OBITUARY OF
I. K. EVERSON
(Mona Correspondent)
Mr. I. K. Everson was called to the great beyond on August 5th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. McKee. Mr. Everson came to this country with his parents at the age of six years. Most of his life he lived on the old Everson farm, about two miles south of Mona.
He was married fifty-three years ago this fall, having celebrated his golden wedding three years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Everson have made their home with their daughter the past few years on account of this feeble health.
He is survived by his widow and five children, namely, Mrs. Wm. McKee, Charles and Ervin, all of this vicinity; Olaf, of Canada, who was unable to attend the funeral; Mrs. Mamie Anderson, of, Crookston, Minn. Fourteen grandchildren, two brother and two sisters also survive.
M. Everson was one of the founders of our local church.
Funeral services were held at Our Savior's church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Langehough officiating. Interment took place at the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
