Mena Otilda Erickson was born in Lyle, Minnesota, December 13th 1916, and slipped peacefully away Thursday morning at six A M, July 5th, 1934.

She was seventeen years six months and twenty three days of age, and was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Rev. Moe and confirmed by Rev. Langehough. She always made her home in Lyle, where she attended and finished school and later attended Waldorf Lutheran College at Forest City, Iowa but withdrew on account of ill health.

She leaves to mourn her departure her mother and brother, Davis Erickson of Fort Snelling. Her father preceded her in death seventeen years ago.
