Funeral Wednesday
At Mona Lutheran

Funeral services for Miss Clara Christiansen, 76, who died Sunday, July 11, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in St. Ansgar, were held Wednesday, July 14 at the Mona Lutheran church with the Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiating.

Until taking up residency at the center about two weeks ago, Miss Christiansen had lived her entire life in the house in Mona where she was born January 21, 1889. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Christiansen.

Miss Christiansen is survived by four sisters Mrs. Peter(Ruth) Anderson, Mrs. Eva Carlson and Miss Minnie Christiansen, all of Mona; Mrs. Gus(Irene) Lee of Carpenter.

Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery with Rev. Klemesrud in charge of the committal services.
