Lila Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Larson, was born Feb. 23, 1905 near Mona. She was baptized and confirmed into the Norwegian Lutheran church. March 4, 1924 she was united in marriage to Emanual M. Barclay. To this union were born four children. Besides her husband Mrs. Barclay is survived by her children, Milo age 6; Robert 4; Audrey 3; and Richard 8 months; also her parents and 5 sisters and 5 brothers: Mrs. B. Chistopherson of Ostrander, Minn., Mrs. O. Anderson and Mrs. C. McCarney, Austin; Mrs. Lee Cole, Lenard and LaDue Larson, Jewell, Iowa; Mrs. Harold Cole and Burton Larson, Lyle; Elmer and Elzer Larson, Mona; one sister proceeded her in death.

Mrs. Barclay has been in poor health for some time and submitted to a very serious operation April 27 and passed away may 4. Funeral services were held at the Jordan Mortuary at Austin and at the Mona church. Rev. Johnson and Rev. Langehough had charge of the services. Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
