1927-10-07 - Will Build New Shop. Marc Dunbar has begun the erection of a new blacksmith shop, to be located north of the present frame building. The new structure will be built of hollow blocks, 52x26 feet, one story, with basement and will be connected with water and sewer. Chas. Zwerneman will have charge of the work. The timbers of the old structure will be used and the work rushed as fast as possible. The steadily increasing business has made the erection of a better building necessary. The old shop is one of the old landmarks of the village, having been erected after the fire, thirty-five years ago.
