1939-03-31 - "New Quarters for Dyrland's Beauty Parlor" - Mrs. Dyrland, who has operated a beauty parlor in the brick building opposite the furniture store on Grove street for severy years will move to the Commercial Hotel building on Main street, where she will open a newly equipped parlor, Saturday April 1st. The wall finish is oriental wall paper with a deep blue background. There are Venetian blinds and new chromium air cushioned seats. There are five booths for individual work; shampoo, facial, permanent wave and finger wave. There are 16 outlets or electric connections. The rooms are electrically lighted by handsome chromium plate indirect chandeliers, giving the parlor ample light and an attractive restful effect...
