1908-10-16 - O. H. Dahl, who for several years has had charge of the mill at Otranto has purchase L. A. Sherman's interest in the firm of Dahl Bros. & Sherman. Mr. Sherman has been elected secretary fo the Gilbert Improved Culvert Company and expects to give his entire time to that business. Mr. Olaf Dahl has rented the Berg house recently vacated by Frank Kavorick and expects to move here soon... The firm will be known as Dahl Bros.

1928-12-07 - Dahl Bros. Sold Out. A deal was consummated here the first of the week, which was somewhat of a surprise to the general public. We refer to the sale of the general mercantile business of Dahl Brothers to the well known firm of Leuthold... The Lyle store is the thirty-first that this firm is now operating, and will be known as "Store No. 31.".
1930-04-11 - The sign "Dahl Bros." which has appeared on the store window for many years was removed, Thursday, having been superseded by the "Leuthold Stores" sign, placed over the door some time ago.
