-Lyle is booming.

-John O. Myhre left for Chicago Monday to purchase fall stock.

-J. Wold and L. F. Clausen of Austin, were in our city Saturday.

-Louis Olson's building on Main street, is undergoing exterior repairs.

-C. O. Wenham succeeds P. McCulley as agent at the C. M. & St. P. depot.

-If you don't believe we will have a city here come and be convinced that we will.

-Andrew I. Sondrol left for Esterville, Iowa, last Wednesday, on a business trip.

-J. B. Hildebrand has purchased the brick building owned and operated by C. Jennye
& Co. He is booming.

-Myhre & Lund arrived home from Chicago last week where they have been purchasing
stock for the fall trade.

-P. McCulley has been stationed at Emmetsburg, Iowa. We are very sorry to loose Pete,
and our best wishes follow him.

-Turner & Belamy have finished their new warehouse at this place, on the M. & N.-W. R. R.
It will be quite a benefit to our farmers who market their grain here.

-The Minnesota & Northwestern R. R. Co. is making some very substantial improvements
here. About one fourth of the roundhouse will be finished this fall, and the balance next summer,
the frame for the eating house and passenger depot has been raised, and work is being rushed to its
utmost. The pump-house is nearly finished; side tracks have nearly all been completed. Mr. Galager
is about ready to grade a side-track on the Manly Junction road three fourths of a mile long. Let the
