Obituary

Mrs. Gunder Larson was born in Grue, Solar, Norway. Feb. 6 1840.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Christenson and was married to Arney Larson in '64. They emigrated to America in '68, and settled on a homestead in Mitchell Co., Ia., where she lived until her death.

Her husband died 7 years ago. She was the mother of 12 children, 4 sons and 4 daughters of whom are living. She also leaves 4 sisters, 12 grand children and 1 great grandchild.

During the last years she has been in poor health, but on Dec. 9, was taken suddenly worse, at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Walter Rawn, and passed away there. The funeral was held at the Mona Lutheran Church, Saturday afternoon and interment was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
