OBITUARY

The remains of Mrs. C. L. Carson, [illegible: nee Cora?] Butts, were taken to London last Friday from Emery, Wis., and the funeral was held from the parental home. Interment was made in Woodbury.

Mrs. Carson moved to Wisconsin about 8 years ago and the family has been living on a farm near Emery. Last January she made a visit at the home of her parents and on her return trip to her home in Wisconsin contracted the flu and was sick several weeks. In her weakened condition diabetes followed and after a few days illness she passed away. She leaves besides her husband and parents one son 9 years of age.
