The funeral of the late Elmer Peterman was held from the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon and interment was made in Woodbury cemetery. Jim Peterman arrived here Saturday, accompanying the remains of his brother.

The funeral was largely attended by friends of the deceased and family. Co. C. acted as escort and the Lyle platoon was augmented by Home Guards from Freeborn county. Capt. Nickelson and a number of the Co. from Austin came down to assist in the last sad rites for one who had given all for the cause of America and democracy, and whose life was snuffed out while yet in the springtime.
