Word reached relatives in this area of the death of a former Lyle resident Mrs. Sadie Bisbee Mayer, 83, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Bisbee. She died at home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Davis at Livermore, Calif. Friday morning, October 16. Services were held at Livermore, Calif. with interment at Fort Summer, N. M. beside her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Mayer was born and reared in the Lyle area and was a telephone operator in Lyle for many years until her marriage.
