Funeral services were held last Friday for a three-year old Lyle girl, Jean Annette Walsh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Walsh at St. Augustine church in Austin. She died at her home Wednesday, May 4 from strangulation when she became daughter in her high chair.

Her mother had stepped outside for only a few minutes and upon returning found her chin caught under the tray of the high chair. Austin firemen were unable to revive her. Jean hadn't been using the high chair for quite sometime but that morning asked to sit in it and told her mother when she stepped out, she didn't want to go along as she usually did and would watch her younger brother.

She is survived by her parents, three brothers, James, Charles and Daniel; four sisters, Elaine and Patricia, all of Lyle, and Mary Kay and Sandra of Austin, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walsh of Lyle, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith of Adams Interment was in Calvary cemetery, Austin.
