1897-09-24 - A deal was made this week between John Reding and Wm. A. Eggert whereby the latter becomes the owner and proprietor of the hardware stock belonging to the former, Mr. Reding retaining the implement and machinery business to himself. Three clerks are at work taking an inventory of the stock. Mr. Eggert, who has already virtually taken control, comes from Union township, Mitchell county, where he is well known to be a bright, intelligent and energetic young man. Success to you Will.
